You have told us the machine, so this page skips straight to the licence and then to installing it on windows. Not your machine?

For Windows 10 and 11. Unzip and go. Note this is MCPRO 2.3 from June 2014 — a major version behind the Linux build, and the only Windows MCPRO that exists.
Two things to know: it is version 2.3, not 3.3, and it is untested by us.
Manuals: MCPRO 2.3. The newest manual written is for 3.2 and ships inside the Linux download as MCPROman320.pdf — there is no 3.3 manual.

Extract MCPRO23w.zip near the top of a drive so you end up with C:\mcpro. Avoid deep folders and OneDrive paths.
rem In File Explorer: right-click MCPRO23w.zip → Extract All → C:\
rem You should now have C:\mcpro with mcpro.exe inside
mcpro\00README.txt is the Windows-specific guide for this build and is the authority on setup — it is the June 2014 2.3 release note, not the Linux instructions.
notepad C:\mcpro\00README.txt
This is MCPRO 2.3 from June 2014. The Linux download on this site is 3.3. If a paper or a colleague's input files assume 3.x behaviour, the Windows build may not match.
rem nothing to run — just be aware of the version gap
Worth knowing before you start: we have not run either MCPRO build ourselves, so these steps come from the bundled readme rather than from a run of our own. MCPRO shares BOSS's habit of printing success after a step has failed — check that the files you expected are actually there and not zero bytes. If you get it working, tell us and we will say so here.
